Yoga for Teachers & Yoga for Students

Yoga for Teachers (Ongoing after-school classes)

Bring 75 minutes of deep relaxation, once a week, to your school. As former LAUSD teachers, we understand the stress you are under! We provide an opportunity for you to personally de-stress and learn exercises to share with your students to help them be calm and focused.

Yoga Professional Developments

Professional Developements are 90 minutes. School staff will learn:
*Breathing techniques to do with students before a test to increase focus & concentration.
*Movement for the morning or when you need to feel energized and want to promote a feeling of unity within your class environment.
*Exercises for PE time. Increase awareness of a healthy mind & body

Our specialist comes to your classroom to teach students for 30 minutes - 1 hour.

"Yoga for the Classroom" helps students:

1. Increase focus and concentration

2. Gain strength, flexibility & balance

3. Understand the importance of a healthy body & mind

4. Calm their mind & body (nervous system)

5. Accept themselves and each other (social adjustment / self-esteem)

6. Experience exercise as fun. (Extremely important with rising obesity in American children.)

7. Expand imaginations and creativity

8. Feel empowered. Students learn a powerful tool to help relax and de-stress.

9. Learn about the body and the way it works.
